Applications for the Position of Head Coach
Nepean Knights Junior "B" Lacrosse Club September 7, 2007
OTTAWA- Now that the Junior "B" lacrosse season approaching a close, the Nepean Knights wish to invite interested candidates to apply for the position of head coach. The deadline for applications to be received by the team for the team's head coaching position is October 7th, 2007. The position will be effective November 1st, 2007.
Experience:
- Ideally have full level two certification for Box Lacrosse and have played at Junior or above
- Minimum requirement is successful completion an NCCP Level 1 Technical or Level 1 Theory course for a first year coach or successful completion of NCCP Technical 1 and Theory 1 NCCP Certification for second year coach.
- Coaching experience at the Junior level is preferred.
- Current or previous Head Coach experience at the Junior level is preferred.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of current Ontario Lacrosse Association Junior "B" League is an asset.
- Knowledge of current Zone 5 minor lacrosse and Junior "B" teams is an asset.
Key Dates:
- Final date for receiving applications is October 7th, 2007.
- Interviews will be held in Ottawa beginning October 15th and ending by or before October 31st.
