2006 Game Reports
Another Big Win
The Knights had another big win in their quest for a playoff spot this year. With every game counting the Knights did not disappoint last night as the beat the Gloucester Griffins 16-10. The next Knights game is a crucial one as they travel to play the Saints who are two points up on Nepean and who hold the last playoff spot. A win there would go a long way towards securing a playoff spot. Good luck guys!!

Knights Over the Celtics 15 to 5 and Drive for the Playoffs
Last night the Nepean Knights faced the Cornwall Celtics, this marking the third and last meeting of this year for the two clubs. This would also be the game to end the split in games fo this year. In the last meeting Cornwall came out swinging and never gave up, taking a third period lead that they would not give up. Last night it was a chance to right the ship and head into the last five games in a winning note. Not out of the playoff hunt yet, the Knights need to win, win, win to ensure a playoff birth. They fell behind after about five minutes of really no action at all, only to take the lead and never look back. The Celtics stayed goal for goal with the Knights until the middle of the second period when the Knights started to open it up. Not wanting to have a repeat performance of last game and needing the two points, the Knights finished off the Celtics to the the tune of 15-5. Chris Ford ended the night with an eight point performance and Nevan Sullivan tallied 4 goals in the winning effort and received game MVP honours. Next up for the Knights, a return visit to the Earl Armstong Arena for a rematch with the Griffins, this marking the third in a four game series with them. The game is Sunday night at 8pm, come on out and support our club as we drive for the playoffs.
